"Cabrini" is Catholicism Pirated.
I finally came up with a term to describe what they do with the lives of the Saints in these bad Biopics. They take Catholicism and they give you a pirated half-baked version of it.
I'll make a video with a review of Cabrini but for now:
1.- Artwise - Yes.
2.- Inspiring?- For simple humanitarian reasons. If you know about Mother Cabrini, you will find they leave out the most important things about her. It's a made up character with traces of Mother Cabrini.
3.-MOST IMPORTANTLY. - The Movie (as all movies distributed publicly MUST BE according to the powers that be) constantly trashes Catholic Clergy, portraying them as useless, cowardly, an obstacle, or outright evil. It's a total lie considering how the clergy supported Mother Cabrini. IT EXTOLS MOTHER CABRINI, WHILE MOPPING THE FLOOR WITH THE CATHOLIC CHURCH.
4.- They TOTALLY leave aside the supernatural. Mother Cabrini is portrayed as a proud, feminist, activist, and the most you get of the Heart of Jesus which was so essential for her, is a couple blurred pictures in the background.
5.- The Movie, whether you notice or not, FURTHERS THE INCREDIBLY PERNICIOUS PROPAGANDA OF LEFTISM OF OPPOSING MEN TO WOMEN AS ENEMIES. You might think you can see it and gloss over that, but within the inspiring moments, (which again are entirely philanthropic but NOT supernatural as they would have been in Mother Cabrini's life) You will end up with a well engraved message:
-- Men and women are enemies and men are obstacles for women.
-- Catholic Clergy are trash
Hence, in spite of the well-made movie in regards photography and direction, (but not art because art is meant to portray truth), I must retain my judgment. It's Piracy of Catholicism.
